Rusty Townsend Takes 2nd Place

TAP-Moto sponsored rider Rusty Townsend took home the 2nd place trophy from the F2 class race during Round 5 of the WMRC series. Rusty battled his way from 18th on the grid all the way up to 2nd. Along the way, Rusty recorded his personal best lap of 1:13.794. Congratulations, Rusty! |

Team Motordirex Competes at the National Level

TAP-Moto sponsored riders Ayrton & Aiello Hall competed at the Canadian Mini Racing National event in Quesnel, BC. Ayrton & Aiello each took home a 1st place finish this weekend in the 7-10 age class races. Congratulations, boys!

Action BBQ & Fundraiser

Action Motorcycle School held their first ever BBQ Social BC Cancer Foundation Fund Raiser in the parking lot of Kwantlen University College in Langley, BC. This was a two-fold event to highlight May as Motorcycle Awareness Month, and to raise funds for the BC Cancer Foundation. In attendance were Action instructors, current & former students, as well as members of the motorcycling industry and city officials.
TAP-Moto is proud to have participated in this special event by donating a raffle prize which helped in raising funds for the BCCF. Congratulations to Lincoln Brouwer who was the lucky winner of a TAP-Moto leather jacket! Ride safe, Lincoln! |

TAP-Moto Proudly Supports WROAR

TAP-Moto announces support for the WROAR (Women Ride Out Against Rape) Ride on June 1st, 2008, starting at Honda Canada's facilities in Scarborough, ON. This ride is a fund raiser to support the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre/Multicultural Women Against Rape Centre. The ride is open to all genders, riders, passengers, soon-to-be riders and spectators. If you are in the GTA, dust off your gear and join the ride for a worthy cause!

Motordirex Racing Team Receives Made 2 Measure Suits
May 4, 2008
TAP-Moto was on hand to deliver suits for Motordirex racers Ayrton & Aiello Hall during the PCMRC's Race Round #1 at the Tradex in Abbotsford. This being TAP-Moto's first foray into the world of youth sizing, we were curious to see how things turned out. Although the racers felt a little uncomfortable with the sensation of new, snug fitting leathers, the overall product turned out better than expected and serves as a great starting point! The only thing which requires "tweaking" is the location of the shoulder armour. Rider safety is our #1 concern, so TAP-Moto will make a few adjustments in the hopes of having the suits back to Ayrton and Aiello in time for their test & tune at Western Speedway on May 25th.

2008 Daytona Prize Winner Takes Delivery of New Gear

TAP-Moto would like to congratulate Clare Knapp, the lucky recipient of the 2pc leather suit and pair of gloves donated to Bernie's 9th Annual Daytona Party benefiting BC Children's Hospital. The prize was originally won by Clare's good friend, Charles Rent. Charles decided to donate his prize to Clare since she needed leathers more than he did. Special kudos goes to Charles for his generosity. You da man, Charles!!!
